Rehab Modalities & Packages Offered

Laser therapy

Continuity of care is important to us, which is why we offer a variety of comprehensive packages that include several consecutive visits, tailored to your pet’s individual needs. These packages are designed to make rehabilitation and pain management accessible for you and your pet.

Each visit includes dedicated time with a rehabilitation professional, following a plan dictated by our CCRT. For more information on the best package for your pet, please reach out to the office or schedule an appointment.

Rehabilitation includes a large variety of modalities:

  • Laser Therapy: Also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM), is a non-invasive treatment which uses light energy in specific wavelengths to promote tissue healing and reduce pain in affected joints, muscles, and ancillary structures. *
  • Soft Tissue Manipulation: We use therapeutic techniques such as stretching, massage, and joint compressions to reduce tissue adhesions, and improve range of motion and blood flow to damaged tissues. Our patients think these therapies feel great!
  • Therapeutic Exercise: Targeted exercises help to regain strength after an injury, helping to get your pet back to their regular routine. Exercise is also an effective way to help protect against injuries in the future.
  • E-Stim: E-stim creates conduction of a low level electrical current that aids in reducing muscle spasm and treating pain in affected structures.
  • PEMF Therapy: PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field. We will treat many of our patients with a PEMF loop while they are undergoing other treatments, creating a biological effect that “recharges” cells to kick start healing.
  • Acupuncture: Acupuncture involves the insertion of very small, sterile needles into the skin at points on the body to modulate pain and restore homeostasis within the body. Most pets are quite tolerant of acupuncture and find the experience to be quite relaxing!

Additional Rehabilitation Services

Mobility & Geriatric Care

With at least 80% of dogs over eight years old experiencing osteoarthritis, recognizing early signs like reluctance to walk or difficulty rising is crucial. Our goal is to enhance your aging pet's comfort and mobility, ensuring they can enjoy an excellent quality of life every day.

Joint Injections

Medication can be injected directly into the joint to provide long lasting anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. These injections are performed under sedation in sterile fashion.

Braces & Orthotics

Braces, orthotics, and prosthetics are part of a comprehensive treatment plan for a variety of conditions.
